3 Day First Aid at Work Course


The Three Day First Aid at Work Course is required for First Aiders in the Workplace and is also ideal for groups or clubs who want a comprehensive three day first aid course.

Candidates are given the knowledge and confidence to deal with someone who is injured or ill up until the handover to the Emergency Medical Services.


The course involves practical exercises and plenty of practice to prepare candidates for their assessment of the last day of the course.


Candidates will receive the HSE approved First aid at work certificate upon successful completion of this course.

  • Responsibilities of a First Aider including Record Keeping
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty, Recovery Position
  • Heart attacks
  • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Shock
  • Choking, Conscious and Unconscious
  • Bleeding
  • Burns and scalds
  • Poisoning
  • Fractures, strains and sprains
  • Seizures, Fainting
  • Asthma
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Eye injuries
  • Low blood sugar.

 Certificate Valid for 3 Years (annual refresher recommended)
